Makes correcting mistakes simple (and cheap)
There are times when you need to correct a mistake or cover up a wrong barcode on your labels. And sometimes you may need to change the price.
But what can you do? You can’t cover them up with regular roll-on labels because they’re too translucent. The information you’re trying to hide still shows through from underneath.
The answer is to use our opaque self-adhesive labels.
These labels are coated with a special dark colour that totally blocks out whatever’s underneath them. And they’re permanently adhesive, so they can be used on colourful backgrounds, pictures and texts.
You can order these labels on paper or foils, in matt or glossy, and with various finishes. You can also choose the size of the roll cores, the width of each roll, and the colour and shape of the labels themselves. Whatever you need to cover up, we can create the perfect opaque label to do it.
But just to be on the safe side, you should talk to someone on our customer service team and perhaps get an individual proof made. Because the last thing you want is to have to cover your opaque label with another opaque label.
Over Labelling FAQs
Where you require labels to apply to packaging to cover up wrongly printed elements then we are able to offer a specific material with a deep grey adhesive. In comparison to our standard, transparent adhesive, one cannot see through to any degree the label.
Depending on the size of your operation, it is either more cost effective to re-label your products via machine, where in most cases a standard product label can be applied via machine.
For more manual operations, where you have a team able to apply small labels in a specific area of the label then a minimum label size of 20mm x 20mm is generally teh case.
Our specific over labelling material can be printed on within our standard workflows. This means digitally printing your over labelling labels offers no problem. Particularly useful when it’s more than one SKU affected by the original error.
