Wine Labels – Customised to your brand!
Crafting each bottle of wine takes months or years of work. And this hard work deserves a great label. At Prime Labels, we recognise the dedication and time it goes to each bottle and we know how to make tough labels that withstand extreme temperatures and humidity. Our range of materials provide a wide range of choice to help your labels stand out from your competition.
Alternating Front and Back Labels
Alternating labels means that front and back labels are printed in sequence on the same roll during a single production run. This method is ideal for automated application, where both labels are applied in one pass.
What Kind of Label Do You Want?
We print your custom design as self-adhesive labels on rolls. Thanks to the adhesive backing, these labels are ready to use and can be directly applied to wine bottles. Our self-adhesive roll labels are suitable for both machine and manual application. If needed, we also offer removable self adhesive labels.
You can choose from a wide range of paper types – ranging from standard options to specialty papers with metallic effects. Our standard selection also includes PE and PP films, with either white or transparent backing, and well as premium papers such as Textured paper, Cotton Touch, Matt White and more.
Finishes
Labels for high-end products, such as premium wines, often benefit from one or more finishes. This is particularly true for wine labels, as bottles are typically quite minimal in design, the label becomes a key element in setting your wine apart.
Enhance your designs with premium finishes like elegant lamination or vibrant hot foil stamping. Our advanced machinery allows us to apply nearly all modern finishing techniques, including matt or gloss protective varnish, which not only shields your label from abrasion and moisture but it also adds a refined look. These finishes are suitable for virtually all materials and elevate the visual impact of your product.
Winding Directions
If you want to apply your adhesive labels on a roll by machine, it is important that you know the orientation of the winding of the roll labels.
To ensure that nothing stands in the way of successful labelling of your wine bottles, it is important to choose the correct winding direction. In principle, we distinguish between two primary winding positions:
- inner winding
- outer winding
This means that the printed side is either on the inside or on the outside.
It is also important to distinguish the possible orientation of the wine labels on the roll:
- bottom first
- top first
- left side first
- right side first
Our personalised labels give you the opportunity to customise your labels however you want. Whether it’s an individual name, a QR code or a barcode, with Prime Labels there are no limits to your creativity.
The Importance of Good Design
