Finishing Touch for Your Labels
Hot Foil
Hot foil labels add a premium, luxurious feel to your products. When used to highlight text or design elements—especially on dark or black labels—they create striking contrast, enhanced brilliance, and a sense of sophistication.
Hot foil stamping (also known as hot foil blocking) is a process in which an ultra-thin layer of foil is applied to paper or polypropylene (PP) using heat and pressure. A custom-made stamping tool ensures precise embossing and opens up virtually unlimited design possibilities.

Lamination
Film lamination enhances the durability of your labels by providing an added layer of protection. This alternative to protective varnish involves applying a glossy or matte transparent film over the entire label surface, shielding it from moisture, abrasion, and wear.
Please note that lamination is not compatible with embossing or uncoated paper materials.

Protective Varnish
Protective varnish is a finishing layer applied to your labels after printing and before cutting. This coating helps safeguard the labels against mechanical damage, scratches, and general wear and tear.
If you're interested in a partial varnish—applied only to specific areas for a visual or tactile effect—please contact us to discuss the options.

Blind Embossing
Blind embossing is a finishing technique similar to hot stamping, where a custom-made tool is used to create a three-dimensional raised effect on specific areas of the design. This process can also be used to produce Braille labels, making it both functional and decorative.
Embossing can be applied on its own, combined with four-colour printing, or paired with hot foil stamping (known as relief embossing) for an even more striking effect.

Relief Embossing
Embossing is often regarded as the queen of label refinements. By combining blind embossing with hot foil stamping, you can create a stunning 3D effect that highlights specific elements of your design—making your label truly unique and visually striking.
This technique is suitable exclusively for paper materials and is not compatible with film. Embossing can be applied on its own, combined with CMYK printing, or paired with hot foil stamping for a sophisticated relief finish.

Digital Spot Varnish
Partial varnish, also known as spot varnish, highlights specific areas of your label to create a striking visual and tactile contrast with the rest of the surface. Digital partial varnishing sets new standards for luxury finishes, giving your products a unique and exclusive look.
Using a digital finishing machine, the varnish is applied with precision—no tools required—saving you time, costs, and resources. Request samples today to see the difference for yourself!
